i was just going to post pics of what avery sent me, but honestly...your pics are WAAAAAAY better than mine are  i'll still put mine up though, although i am feeling like i should get a better photo shoot going with him, lol.

HEEEEERRRREEE she is! My partner asked for a tattoo/piercing poppet! So I had to oblige! I tried to model her after those Pin-up girls you see nowadays with their awesome pompadours, elegant dresses and rockin' tats.

I didn't really know what to do for piercing except this: Corset lacing!
 

And here she is chillin' without her shoes (that I failed to make) She's the first poppet I was able to do bendy fingers with!

I still haven't been able to get on long enough to get the pictures up, the uploader just doesn't work for me, and every time I try to post, I loose my connection, this is attempt #3. Jessicas pics are wonderful.  Don't miss the cute little red cross tattoo on the "left upper chest".   I love the blue hair in the center, I might have to try that myself!  both arms are covered in tattoos.  What you can't see is that she has a Sailor Jerry tattoo under her coorset that is a heart with a banner on it with my hubby's name.  I love the bendy fingers, I haven't gotten up the nerve to try that yet.  And of course it wouldn't have been complete without the fishnet stockings!  As for the shoes, no worry!  Notice the Scotsman didn't have any either!  Maybe this one will go through.

Today I received the most gorgeous poppet from Lanikins! She is a character, Nora, from one of my most favourite books (it's a zombie book, no surprise there I'm sure... ) "Dearly, Departed" by Lia Habel.

Here is a description of Nora in one scene in the book: "I was wearing a swirly black knee-length skirt with a short crinoline underneath it, black stockings, and black knee-high boots. I had a white blouse with elbow-length sleeves tucked into the skirt. She'd tied my hair back with a white ribbon, just to get it out of the way" (Habel, pg. 237).

And the cutest description of how her love interest, Bram, reacts when he sees her, thrown in for good measure...

"He was looking at me as if he had never seen me before. I felt the heat rising in my cheeks again" (Habel, pg. 237).







The workmanship of this piece is ridiculous. I cannot even begin to describe it- DO YOU SEE THOSE BUTTONS! They are like mere millimeters in width! And the boots? Did you make those Lani, because if so :O!

She is gorgeous and I will cherish her FOREVS!
