Wink Cheesy Hello everyone , I whipped up this quick lil dress the other night , It was so quick , literally took less than an hour ! its only 4 identical pieces , basically a rectangle that dips in at the center ( to fit at the waist )

If anyone is interested I can make a tute

thanks for looking , have a great day

p.s. the belt isnt necessary I just liked the look of it , but the dress has a great fit without it

TUTE added  Cheesy

NOW TAKE FUN PICS OF YOURSELF WEARING YOUR GREAT NEW DRESS , AND POST THEM SO WE CAN ALL ADMIRE THEM

please let me know if you have any questions about the tute
I hope its clear and understandable

Have a great day
Jayne

I'd be interested in a tute, It's a lovely dress and looks like it'd be ok for a beginner dressmaker like me!

This might be a silly question, but how long should the pieces be? Just from my shoulder to however long I want the dress to be?

yep , the length is up up you , just measure from your shoulder to where you want the dress to hit ( any where from mini to maxi or any length in between just remember to add a little extra for seam allowances and hem )

I'm wondering how you did the vneck.  Does it have a facing or did you trim the excess fabric and hem?
