This isn't a true quilt, but it's my first attempt at anything close to quilting, so please be kind!  Smiley This is based on the Tardis from Dr. Who, and the top isn't pieced but there are appliques. I machine quilted the panels for details. The top portion is a hood that can be used as a hood or you can put a pillow in it and use the blanket more like a nap mat. Thanks for looking!

Very clever and well done -- and it looks like the doors "open" to wrap around you..Huh  If so, doubly clever!  And as I understand it, stitching through all the layers is the quilting part, so this would qualify.  Would love to see a few more photos whenever you're able....
