I'm back to swapping after a long hiatus. Things feel different here, or is it just me? Is the swap board slower these days?

I don't know how long you've been away, but it does seem to me that there are more ongoing swaps and less "regular" swaps than usual. As for the swap board being slower, I think lots of people travel in the summer and may have a little trouble working around vacation and sendout days.

In any case, welcome back!

I always think it slows down around X-mas and Summer. I take a break during Summer. Heat and swap deadlines are not my forte, lol.

Ahhh, that must be it Smiley I've been so busy with school in the fall/winter/spring that swapping was out of the question then.

It seems slower to me as well, but then again, like you, I am busier in the winter, so it could be that I just have more time to be on Craftster now as well.

I missed you llisaredd!

(And the nifty swaps you organized!  Grin)

ditto to what Miss Barbara said...

go on llisaredd organise something. I feel exactly like you, am all up to do some swaps and the board is slow...plus lots of ongoing type swaps. Which I like in and of themselves, when they are chain types, but I am not keen on 'pick anyone from the list' and send to them as it seems to me that the potential for people getting unpicked seems a little too great. But then I haven't been following them, so perhaps they all do work out in the end.

I'm back to swapping after a couple years & I agree that things seem waaaay slower.  And where did the quilters go?  I think there used to be more people into quilt swaps.  But maybe it will pick up in the fall...
