Happy birthday America!  Smiley

I'm not sure if I put this in the right place, but oh well.
This year I made a dress to celebrate America's birthday. It was a very rushed project as I started last week and only had about two or three days to actually devote to it. I'm satisfied with the way it turned out but not exactly pleased. I think I may just not be a fan of this pattern, but I wanted a halter top.

It's so cute! What pattern did you use?

Thanks! I used McCalls M6350.

I've used this pattern once before and I don't think I really like the pattern. The first one I made was way too big so I had to fix it once I was finished. This time even after measuring myself a million times it's still a half size too big. The bust doesn't really fit correctly and the boning is way too high. I'd probably never use it again. But if you like the style you should give it a try, i might just be doing something wrong.
