I was on a bit of a scarf-making kick a few years ago, and unfortunately this one got left in the dust for a while. I finally pulled it out a few days ago and finished it up, and right now I love it. I used a pattern from the 2008 pattern-a-day calendar, and this represents my first experience with crocheted cables. I wish I'd used a slightly thicker or fuzzier yarn, but otherwise I like how it turned out. This scarf also has some sentimental value for me related to my grandma, so that only adds to my personal love for it.

You did a wonderful job, the color and texture make this one scarf I would wear every day.
