The County Fair is coming to town and I wanted to show off my entry because it is so beautiful.  I started it over 10 years ago, my cat ran down the hall with the thread ball and pulled out a lot of it.  I was so discouraged I put it away.  I tried to work on it several times and either the thread, shawl or pattern was missing.  Finally last year all the pieces came together.  Actually I went through decades of Magic Crochet before I found the pattern again!  So today the shawl was finished by washing and pinning into shape.  The shawl is 47 inches in diameter made with a size 8 thread called Brilliant Knitting/Crochet Cotton.  I purchased it when they were retiring the product and it cost 50 cents a ball.  I bought two boxes and still have a lot left!  I'm so proud that I finished it and not just scrapped it.  Here is a picture.  I appreciate any comments.

Thanks

Thank you everyone!  I appreciate your comments and good wishes.  As far as I am concerned I've already won a prize, for just finishing the shawl.

Thanks for looking!

Thank you!  I can't wait to wear it.  The fair is only a week and then it's mine.  Now I need to find a pin or I may make one, so it stays together on the display.

Thanks
Lois
