I looked into this sketchbook project a couple of years ago but never did it. You know, I should just dive right in and challenge myself. What a fun way to break the creative ice this would be.

Unfortunately, I think it's too late to sign up. And the due date is January 15th to send back to ArtHouse Coop.

I have started my book for this year (and no, I haven't finished 2011 yet! Maybe over Christmas break). I selected "Chapbook" for my theme which is a small pamphlet or book, a Victorian-era 'zine, let's say, to give a simpler definition. So far, I am filling pages with the ephemera of my life - pages with stamps (from envelopes/swaps I have received), pages with bus transfers, pages with stickers I've found, and a set of pages with other found items from walking around San Francisco. Not terribly exciting but I am having fun cleaning off my desk and coffee table and using some of the stuff I hoard/collect/accumulate.

PLEASE ask me for some fabric - I have way too much. It's yours, free, for the cost of postage.

I would join this one, love the idea, but live in NZ so would never get to see any of them especially mine as could get the normal book but can't really afford the digitized one...especially as nz dollar is worth less than American so even more expensive...but love the concept and wish I could visit the travelling library of them, they would be awesome to see.

Have fun everyone!
