I made these two Silly Girl dolls using Missy Ballance's free pattern. I really like them, they seem so summery sweet.
Instead of yarn, I used raw fabric strips for their hair. For Vera, the green doll, I went with vintage buttons for the eyes instead of felt. (Craftsters--we just can't stop messing with things like INSTRUCTIONS Wink)

The second time around--it was almost TOO much fun and I fear I'm going to make one in every color!

I love these girls, Susan! You did an awesome job of making them shabby/sweet.  The fabric hair is great, and I love the fabrics you used for their dresses. I can see how addicting it would be to make them...maybe I need one or two myself!

I love these two silly girls too - Leslie is right - so sweet.  I really like your interpretation with the hair and eyes - how could you not just love them - I think children would especially be drawn to them (over age 3-4, of course!).  Just pretty, sweet little girl dolls - Susan you rock on the shabby/sweet front - you always do!   Cool
