I made these skirts last year when I wasn't using Craftster but now I'm back I want to share  Cheesy
Originally made for Tribal belly dance classes they have been finding their way into my everyday wardrobe, can't help myself I love them o much!  Roll Eyes

The purple on is poly-cotton with a poly-sating tier for the hem, I cheated and melted the edge rather than sewing a 12 metre hemline.
you can see how well it flows in my profile pic  Cheesy

The fuschia/red is made from a kingsize duvet cover  Grin Grin Grin

The navy blue is silk habatai and very very light and flowy with a 18 metre circumference to the hemline.
I've worn it for dance, for a pirate costume and to my sisters wedding. It cost about £9 to for the fabric from a local shop. I've had my monies worth already  Wink

The brown and cream is made from 2 skirts from the charity shop and the black one with the black and white panels is 3 charity shop finds made into one big gals big skirt  Grin

I adore these skirts!  I need to make some myself for garb for the medieval faires I attend...did you use a pattern, or one of your own creation?

Its all just sort of sew as you go TheSapphireMoon building them from the bottom up decreasing the length of each strip every tier  Grin
12 metres
9 metres
6 metres
3 metres  & elasticate the waist

 or something very similar  Wink
