I admit it...I liked crocheting better....at first!

When I picked up knitting, and realized that I liked the patterns more, I was determined to master it! Well, I haven't mastered it, but here are my first few attempts:

I wanted to make a wallet and then felt it, but because I didn't pay any attention to the type of yarn I purchased and that it was washer friendly wool, it just turned out as a pretty wallet, non-felted  Undecided

The next project was to attempt a hat. After many, many, restarts, this was the result:

My second attempt was more complicated, and has a few mistakes but I think they hid pretty well within the pattern:

And for any interested, I didn't have a pattern for the wallet, but the two hat patterns can be found on Ravelry...somewhere.  Undecided

Sorry your felting efforts didn't work out, but you're right--it's still quite adorable!

And I really like both hats, and the striped one especially.

It's bad enough wasting time, without killing it.

I think the purse is great just as it is! Fab colours.

Hats are lovely too!
