I've been away from Craftster for awhile, and I just wanted to share some of the projects I've been working on  Grin

The first one is my pride and joy....

I call it my "grandma blanket" because of the random collection of colors. It was made of my massive collection of scrap cotton yarn, and one purchased skein (black) to make the edging consistent. The blanket is about 5' in diameter, and is currently my biggest project yet. (I think I have crafting A.D.D.  Roll Eyes )

And then just a few shots of random projects for gifts I've made over the past year...

Happy Banana:

An Easter Basket, complete with eggs and "grass"

And one of four trivets I made as gifts for Christmas (I don't seem to have pictures of the others, but they were the same pattern, just different colors)

I hope you all like them Smiley

And for any interested, I got patterns for the blanket, banana, and trivet from various people on Ravelry, and the Easter Basket from LionBrand

Beautiful work! You've been busy Smiley.

The star blanket is awesome. I love the scrappy colors - they all work great together.

That blanket is great. I love scrap blankets, they have a randomness to them that is always so cool. And the star shape came out awesome!

All the other projects look nice too. I've been wanting to try a trivet pattern like that for a while.

It's bad enough wasting time, without killing it.

Great blanket! It's very eclectic in a way that works, and definitely has some personality to it. Smiley The banana looks pretty cute too, and I'm a bit intrigued by those trivets. Don't think I've seen that kind of pattern before.

The trivets were a bit tricky, and way more time consuming than I expected. To make sure they hold up and keep their stiffness, I crocheted each ring around a pipe cleaner, works great, but makes the process take that much longer. I can't remember if I saw that on Ravelry or her on Craftster though  Undecided

I love the blanket and the colors that you used on it! It's kinda got this cool retro-faded look to it that I really like. Good job =D
