I finished up my last pieces this weekend. My husband was supposed to mail them yesterday...hopeful ly he'll remember today.

So my final set was for seeuudee, in the UK. I got the "mean" postal clerk, of course. This time, she lectured me about my envelope size. "You should try to use a larger envelope, this one will be non-machineable and will cost more.". Wow. A whole .20 cents more. I have been sick since Sunday, so I don't even argue. But I was thinking:

A. I don't want it machined anyway, thanks.
B. What do you care as long as you get your .20 cents extra?
C. Is there any size and destination package you don't lecture about?(no, there isn't)

Some of those postal workers can be grouchy. And it's never consisitent on delivery confirmations either.

All my pieces have been sent. they were so fun to make.

I'm so behind!
Signing up for the ATC swap and this one at the same time might have been a good idea...but then I suddenly ended up in the middle of packing for a move and the beginning of the school year all at once.

So I'm a mess! But I hope to finish up soon and send on time. Packing boxes can wait!

ack, ack!! where did August go? Huh

I have been working on them off and on when I get a minute to myself, now I need to push it into high gear! I waiver between 'worst mom in the world ignoring my kids and making them eat cereal for dinner' to 'that's ok it will teach them to take care of themselves when they are out on their own...' LOL. either way, I should finish by this weekend to send on monday!
