Yay! I'm so excited to get going... I've made several altered puzzles, but never kept one for myself, so this one is going to be my gift to myself.

I could see that being an issue if there is something like to much modge podge around the edges but I havent had this problem before. I just make sure everything is flush so there is no problem putting the pieces back together Smiley

Pilarfarmer, I'm working on my third 24 piece puzzle, and a bunch of my pieces didn't initially fit together. It's no big deal though. I basically whittle the offending edges with an exacto knife until the glue is shaved off, and then they fit just fine. (I use cardboard puzzles. I imagine you'd just use sandpaper on wooden pieces)

Any problems I've had are with super cheap puzzles (like cardboard where the layers keep breaking off on the edges.)  I love wooden puzzles because it doesn't seem to happen.  I've been putting together my last puzzle (the super cheap cardboard puzzle), and even though it's hard to get together, it's been okay to put it together when I do it in order so there's no small hole left in the middle to cram a piece into.

I've found that an emery board is an excellent tool for sanding those edges that don't fit correctly Smiley
