Resin + A few others

I've been playing with resin a lot lately, and with mixing in other things. I found that if you mix acrylic glow in the dark paint into it, it'll glow and the paint won't wear off. And that makes me happy!
So I made glow in the dark earrings and a ring.




Things just sort of went from there...






The sprinkles heart is actually a pin now, and being worn by one of my friends.

Then I wanted to try some wire work.



Originally, it was going to be a necklace pendant, but I wasn't entirely happy with the outcome (the beads were taken from a few wine markers that weren't being used ^.^) so I put it onto a keychain.



Then tonight, while I should've been sleeping, earrings happened. I just can't take a break from crafting!




The beads were made from polymer clay. They were strung onto 20g wire, then the end of the wire was wrapped into a spiral and the feathers were glued into it. I'm still just "eh" on them, but that's what crafting is all about, right?

Your resin stuff is so gorgeous! I cannot get anything to come out that nice. The last day I used resin was the day I got it in my hair. Love the glitter and the paint mixing is genius!

Thank you! I tried a new technique last night to try and make the polymer clay look like turquoise. It was messy, and I still need some practice to get it just right, but it'll definitely be something I try again.

It really was a blast! I have way too much fun with it, especially the earrings. My ears are 00g, so I need special retainers to wear them.

Thank you! It took some practice, and I'm still experimenting with ratios (if you use too much paint, it won't set right), but I think it's all going in the right direction. You should give it a try again!
