 A great way to learn to organize swaps is to assist in doing so. It really helps the burden lift too, esp. if there are a lot of swappers.

I'm going to org for Mabon and will co-org with someone else for Samhain-because that and Yule are so big I don't think anyone should do them alone! 

My enthusiasm wanes and waxes for organizing (because of the "fiddly work" of feedback and keeping statuses straight which I know I need to develop a better system for) but I love leading such a wonderful, dedicated and talented group!

I needed a break after taking the reigns so long....and you all stepped up to share the effort (esp Wulf, Monnie and Maman, among the others!). I'm so proud of "us"! I feel that I've made good friends in this group. Our circle truly is open yet unbroken!

Well right smack in 2 sabbats coming, my 18 year old daughter's boyfriend (who is 23 and financially secure, already owns his own house and has a good job with the family construction company) asked for my daughters hand. She will be getting married Oct 15, which is his grandparents wedding anniversary. Having one child left in the house is saving me from a complete empty nest syndrome, still have a lot of it, but nowhere near as bad as it could be. LOL

My oldest as many of you know is in the USMC, and now Aimee getting married; all back to back. Oh well! As I always tell the kids, when something new is in celebration...HUZZA AAAH!

I still have 5 year with the youngest. hehehehe Hopefully, she doesn't hate all the attention, good or bad. LOL

Just wanted to share my current altar setup and a snippet of my current garden bounty (I have gotten 3 zucchini and 4 heads of broccoli and tons of lettuce as well as 2 cups of rose petals-what can I do with them?)

I love asparagus when it's leafed out. So delicate and yet sturdy.

I think I have some easy recipes for rose petal stuff. Let me see what I can find.
