I've been wanting to try needle felting for years now.  I've had all the supplies forever and have been too intimidated by it to even try it.  I saw these zipper pins where the insides are needle felted and I figured it was time to try.

So I made this little butterfly.  I just trimmed the zipper, sewed it down to a sturdy piece of fabric, then needle felted to color in the insides of the zipper.  Needle felting sure is fun!  Took away some of my stress.  Tongue

Not sure I really like the buttons I glued onto the antenna.  Next time I'd be sure to curl the zipper in tighter so it doesn't have any open spaces.

That's a neat idea, it's really pretty!  I'm in the same boat as you were on the needle felting, intimidated.  Seeing how good your first project came out gives me a push in the right direction though.  Thanks for sharing!

That came out really nice! I like the bright color choices, especially.

It's bad enough wasting time, without killing it.
