very inspiring and beautiful techniques... I've been considering trying some sort of doodle designs and I've tried crayon tinting, this is an exciting different way to play with it, thanks for sharing!

I LOVE the Narwal!  What kind of fabric did you use as the base?  I love the water color tint, great idea - just normal water color?

These are all great but I really love the narwhal at the top! I've never thought of mixing watercolor and embroidery but I'll definitely give it a try now that I see how amazingly well this turned out. The whole thing is just beautifully simple and perfect and I want a dozen of them to hang up around my room.

Aliped - The fabric is just a simple cotton broadcloth. And I used watercolors from a tube.

OMFG woman!! this is so much awesomeness, I might explode  Shocked  I don't even know what my favorite hoop is!! I think it's a tie between the nautilus, the buttons and the "do something creative" hoop.  I also love the story behind your stocking hoop, so sweet!!
