After having this pattern save on my computer for aaaages, I finally decided it was time I needed a new bag.  http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/2010/09/free-amy-butler-pattern-blossom-handbagshoulder-bag/

I love the fabrics, grey goes with everything doesn't it?
This is the outside,  I changed it a bit, and used some silver rings off an old bag.

I only put one of the dividers in, I chose to do the one with the zip.

And there is still room for extra things I might need like a camera and my littlies water bottles, or small toy.

I think it is only about 3/4 of the size it should be, I think my printer may have resized the pages, because when I cut out the base piece according to her measurements, it was far too long for the sides.  The pattern says 1 1/4 yards (1.2 m), we work in meters here, so i got 1 meter and hoped for the best, I still have about 1/3 yard left...probably to do with the pattern resize. I'm sure I'll find a use for it.
Thanks for looking, and I'd love to know what you think.

This looks adorable!  I love the fabric you chose, too.

Thanks. :-)  I have enough left for a little skirt or dress, but I don't feel the need to co-ordinate my daughter and handbag Smiley

HA!

Maybe a little bag for her?  Or a wallet for you?

I do need a coin purse.  I found $10.00+ in change floating around the bottom of my old bag. Smiley

I've had this pattern on my computer for ages, as well. Absolutely love your version of it...beautiful fabric and I really like the idea of the rings for the straps.  Great job! Oh, and I second the idea for a coin purse or wallet to match Smiley

Looks great!  I like the fabric as well.  It's a great pattern!  I need to tackle that one again for myself.  I had some issues when I printed it off when I made it and had to go back and fiddle with the settings.

I had some trouble too. i think my printer resized it, as the bottom panel that you are given measurement for was way too big.  Doesn't matter tho, I like the size it ended up.
