I think it might be nifty if we could upload straight onto a post. maybe just have the pics be backed up in folders elsewhere.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest Smiley! Love this idea!

I think it would be such a smoother process if we could upload directly into a post. Also, if there was a way to see the image during the creation of the post rather than having to use the [img] tags and only seeing the link. I think being able to compose the post with the image embedded would be nice - rather than having to type everything out and then preview and edit.

I'd also love a way to add a photo to craftster housing via a URL, instead of pulling from my harddrive.

Thanks so much for working on this!! WWeeeeeeee!!

What I've been doing to get others' pics is to go to my own picture hosting, click on "members galleries" (one step back) then paste in the user's name.  I think that's about the same number of steps...

I can't remember how posting pics before 10 posts works (it's been a very, very long time) but perhaps there should be the link (without the image tags) for the user to paste into their post?  Maybe with some details as to why they should?  Or something...

Ooo, photo editing choices and folders would be amazing!

Maybe a "preview" of what the thumbnail for the thread would look like?

Would being able to send a picture on a camera directly to Craftster photohosting be part of this?  Because if so, I would love that like woah.

Well I can't guarantee that we can give everyone what they ask for but you can ask for anything. Cheesy  Also, could you just select the files from your SD Card when you're uploading? I mean... I think I can but maybe we don't have similar cameras/systems.

Ahhh, I currently email the pictures to myself, I don't do the SD card thing.  :/  I am technologically challenged, clearly.

Craftster resizes large images. I would like to have the image link to a larger image, the size that was upload for higher resolution images. The size limit seems to be 500 pix wide. Some images should be able to seen either full screen or opened in another window.

I really want an upload widget like the photobucket one! That would be so helpful!

One of the reasons I post so few photos is that it is so difficult to post them.  I always think of them while I'm posting, so then I have to leave the post, go to the photo uploader, fight with it for an hour or so, get frustrated and give up. (The acting like it's loading then a white screen is what I get too with more than 1 photo.)

So I agree that the ability to post directly to a thread would be awesome.  Also a drag and drop in the photo upload section would be sweet!

sorting with folders is a great idea, also I don't remember exactly when it would happen but I would be intending to scroll through my photos (to post more) and would end up in someone else's photos--I'd love for that to be fixed.
I've honestly never been able to figure that out.  Lips sealed I'm not the most well-versed admin with that area!

It took me awhile to figure out that the go back button is crucial in keeping track of where I am in my uploaded photos.

I would like to see something that meantions why your 5 photos didn't upload right.  If they don't upload I have to go back to my editor and figure out which pic is over 2M.  If the voluptuous pic was marked in red or something it would save time. (The first time this happened to me it made me cry...I'm better now Grin)

And..what does the stuff you write about the pic actually do? Not the title or tag, I get that.  But the big box. I never see those posted on craftsters anywhere.  I spent hours trying to be eloquent in the Big Box when I first started.  Now I post the swap and the maker if it's not me. But does it actually DO anything?
