Did you know Lowe's and Home Depot both offer FREE kids' workshops?  baby.sweets4ever attended his first one a few weeks ago and, wow, it was a great time.  They provide all of the materials, including a take home apron and iron-on patch upon project completion (LOVE that).

It's a really great opportunity for teaching not only basic crafting skills, but also life skills like organization, project/activity completion, team work and communication.

You just go to their websites, register, sign up and show up at the workshop time.  Nifty!

Here's our first experience.  He's becoming quite the little crafter (making me proud Grin):

Our Lowe's does them but since I don't have any kids I figured I'd be a bit out of place lol. Your pictures are adorable!

It was really awesome seeing all of the kids working on their projects.  Hammers just tap tap tapping away. Cheesy

Haha!  Maybe if you wear a hat and slouch in one of the chairs they won't notice. Cheesy
