Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for a wrap/shawl thing similar this (preferably more simple)?

I'm semi new to crocheting, so I havent figured out how to make my own patterns. I'm sure this is fairly simple. Any help is appreciated. =)

It looks pretty close to an item of ladies clothing from the civil war believe it or not!  Like this http://www.csa-scla.org/articles/Sontag.htm and I think there is a pattern here.  You can see some more versions here http://ladysresource.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=94469771 and here http://wardhouse.wordpress.com/2010/06/18/sontag/ I think you could adapt one of these patterns and add some cable stitches or something.
