We're doing a white elephant gift exchange with all the extended family,i'm going to make some candycane vodka for that, so these are pretty much everything i need to make! ( plus
Decorations)

I wish my family or friends would do this. I think it's lots of fun. Right now, my family will have the kids draw the names of the other kids. It helps with our every growing family while still allowing everyone to buy for the kids. I want to do a white elephant gift exchange
party this year.

Haha, its so much fun:) our turn to host all the cousins, grandparents etc. so have convinced my parents that this will be much more fun than doing a traditional secret santa! We were planning on putting good gifts in though, not really useless ones!

Ok, I promise I've not been slacking!! I've just been psychotically busy crafting for other imprtant stuff! I had to make my 5/yo older daughter's Halloween costume (Jane in the city dress) and my husbands! He was Superman. I posted my daughter's in the competition, though. But my husband's turned out fantastic and I plan to put a post up on it soon.
And "now" (read "should have done months ago") gotten started on our church's Christmas theme. We are doing a 1940's town center!!!! It's going to be awesome and totally free for everyone! We are doing up the central parking lot (trust me, that is ENORMOUS!) to look just like a town center from the 1940's, fully equiped with coffee shop/hot chocolate shop, bakery, fire pit, chestnuts roasting, family activities, holiday light show, live music, plays, carolers - literally the works! I am helping with the costuming and making all of the muffs for the ladies. So, that's about 20 to 30 of them. They are quick to make up, but with so many, it takes quite a while. Thankfully, I have until December 3rd to get them all done. I plan on having them done next week, though, because of all of the crafting I want to do for my friends and family starting with the ones out of state (so I can send as soon as possible).

So, with that long-winded story, I bid you all good night and happy crafting!

I finished my project for work, my goal now is to get me bedroom, craft room, and bathroom spotless, then cut out all projects that need to be done for Christmas and put them in ziploc bags, then when I have time to sew I can quickly grab a project, sew, and not have the dreaded garbage of the cutting {to me it's garbage, but I will either sell the scraps on facebook or donate to a local school}.

The Man: knitted arm warmers (1 2 3 4), and beyond that, I'm lost

FIL: brown w/ zigzag cuff and collar flannel shirt, brown/grey socks, 2-tone blue socks

MIL: green leaf-lace socks, floral top (haven't even decided which of two fabrics I'll use!)

SIL: deco style hat in pink and black, floral top in the other fabric from her mother

SIL's BF: black whimsy covered trinket box, some sort of knit or crochet item (a hat? a scarf? *shrug*) AHA! Purl Bees' bandanna cowl in manly brown.

BIL: knitted hat based on a Gundam helmet (not sure which, yet), requiring me to upsize one of these 1 2 3 or else use the Cylon hat, and I want to add this face warmer.

Additionally, everyone is getting plastic animal key fobs (hurray for dollar store toys!), and MIL and SIL have requested new embroidered name key fobs.

Lots and lots of homemade Reese's/chocolate peanut butter candy and cookies!

Sugar Scrub:
Fill whatever container you're going to use with sugar. Dump into bowl. Add olive oil and stir until it's saturated... Not enough to dissolve the sugar. Add honey and cinnamon.

Handwarmers:
Knit
Size US 6 straight needles
CO 28 stitches
Rib stitch 6 rows
Stockinette stitch until it's barely long enough to reach your knuckles (Increase to 34-38 stitches gradually)
Rib stitch 4 rows

Mug Rugs and Cup Sleeves don't know what pattern yet

Homemade Dog treats:
2 cups peanut butter
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking soda

Mix. Roll flat to cut out shapes with cookie cutter. Bake @ 375 for 20 min.

Her husband has a pair of wrist warmers as he has taken up archery and has been told to relax his wrists more. Their children each have belts, but foolishly I forgot to take photos of them before they got wrapped.

This is my mum's stash of things, can you tell she's a literary kind of person?

Although we had them professionally printed, the calendars are populated with photos we've taken at kite festivals this year. They will go to our kite friends and for some of the kiting girls there are crocheted flower brooches made from broken bits of kite line, but once again I forgot to photograph those too.
