 A few weeks back my eldest asked me to house\cat sit while he and his wife were out of the country. Well, as luck would have it, I took no crafts cause I hadn't planned to be in the house that long. I was hoping to be walking the city, sitting at the beach for a week. Well, for reasons out of my control, I had to stay indoors mostly....and was going stir crazy. Soooo on my trip to the store for milk and such I saw a school supply store across the street....10 minutes later I had my stash! Got back to the apartment and improvised anything. So I made pom pom Angry Birds (Simply cause the kids in my family are still in love with them).  This is what came out of such a simple (but therapeutic) craft.
Angry Bird Gang!

And being the mean mommy I am, I decided to get a little "back" by leaving some for them to find. First obvious place was on the TV

Oh, and some on the bookshelf!!! This is getting fun.

And the fruit of an hours work.

Next time I won't be caught without at least something to craft with!!! Grin
Supply list:
bag of multi color pom poms
glue
google eyes
package of different color felt
a pair of nail scissors (great for those eye brows)

These are great! My little brothers and sister are into these too! I'm going to make some as Christmas gift embellishments! (With my family being so huge I always start gifts early. This year I'm trying to do the most difficult people first so they don't get generic "I have no idea what you like here's a mug." gifts.

Great idea! They were very fast to put together. Tip: I'd use again the fingernail scissors for the small eyebrows. They were very helpful in getting just the right angle on such a small scale.

Thanks! It sure relieved the boredom and was fun. I sure wish I was a fly on the wall when they came home and found them.
