Hi there!  I was luckily enough to get to participate in the second round of the Felt Badge swap!  In the first round we made 1 badge for each partner, in the second round we did 2 per partner, so twice the fun!  (Perhaps we will do 3 badges for round 3?  hehe).  Anyhow, here are the badges I made for the swap for my two wonderful swap partners Kimbles and luckdragon!

Kimbles was kinda enough to let me use the pictures she took since I got over excited that they were done and forgot to take nice pictures of them before they had their journey to Australia!  I got phone pictures, but meh.  Kimbles and I both have a love of World of Warcraft.  I decided to celebrate her desired faction, and stitched out their symbol (despite our faction revelry, since I play Alliance.).  Now she can proudly show off that she is a member of the horde!  "FOR THE HORDE!!!!"  I even attempted french knots with some success!  hehe

This one is for her Old School Gaming theme, a little NES remote.  And man was it little!  Less than 3" across!  I used wool-blend felt on both patches.

These are the ones I sent luckdragon.  She and I both participate in the Craftsters Scouts.  So, I made her a merit badge for her amazing IYP organizer skills!  I used a dancing term as well as a term meaning "cool" to describe her on this, since in the IYP swap you ask a partner to "dance" and they are currently doing the Summer Soiree, so I thought it would be appropriate.  She is a swinging swap organizer, for sure!  She is on her second time running the IYP swap, and doing an amazing job at, too!  For the other, I wanted to nerd out along with her and made her a Dr. Horrible badge.  I had to rewatch it just to make sure I was in the right evil mood to make it.  ^_^  Again, both badges were done with wool-blend felt.

Thanks everyone!

I just scoured the interwebs for the horde symbol and just drew it from the computer screen onto the felt with a disappearing ink pen.  Are you wanting a pattern to make this badge?  I can whip you up a pattern if you want one.

No, that's okay Smiley I was just wondering how you managed to get it so neat. I've tried drawing it from an image before and I'm just really bad at it! It looks really good Smiley
