bananaleg - your cowl looks great, what kind of stitch is that?

That hat for your uncle looks very cosy.  I'm sure if you continue with the ribbing it won't be too bulky.

The cowl is lovely...your stitching is so nice and even!

I don't think I have ever knit a hat top down...that just dawned on me because all of my crochet hats are top down, but all of my knit hats start with the ribbing/bottom...Cheesy

I think he will love the hat...I like the ribbing and would make it double the length so when he folds it up, it is nice and thick...

I'm back to working on my blue sweater. I just have to finish the sleeves and I'm done, I am just so bored of it. But I want to wear it this winter, so here I am, knitting away, lol.

Usually, I try to have only one project going at a time, but I've got a couple of knitting projects going right now.  Oddly enough, they're segregated by time and space!

I have a flight-style cap I'm making that I work on in front of the TV in the evenings.  A cabled "cat hat" I work on in the dining room on early evenings.  And (yet another!) modular blanket that I do one square of in the evening, sitting in bed and winding down.

Makes me sound much more productive than I really am....

yofi - you are sounding very productive!

I'm still knitting the ten stitch blanket.  I'm trying to avoid the temptation to cast on another project, as I know that then I'll ignore the blanket...

The trick is making significant progress on any of the projects!

I think you're right; focusing on one project at a time is the best way to go -- especially with a big project like the 10-stitch blanket.

I'm still plugging away at that blasted blue sweater, lol. Stockinette is sooo boring, lol, but I'm determined to finish this thing. I'm almost done with the first sleeve at least.

Finished my cat hat, and cast on another. (!)

I think I'll be working on this modular piece for -- as long as the blue/green/grey yarn scraps hold out.....

Yofi, I like that Smiley I have a shawl pattern that looks a lot that like too, that's (one of) my next project.

I'm working on a pair of cabled socks. The pattern's written starting from the cuff, but I'm knitting it starting from the toe (doing it 'upside-down'...in some ways it's easier, in some ways it's a pain in the you-know-what)  I finished the foot on the first sock, and now I think I'm going to do the foot on the second sock now while I still remember what I did Smiley
