Thanks--yeah, I found with second gloves, the first one is the hardest, so I am hoping the sock will be, too! Cheesy

I used a very simple pattern that had a Dutch heel, so it went faster than I thought...I would like to try more sock patterns, but maybe just changing yarn would be even easier! Cheesy

oh--and could you remove the pic from your quote?  It is against the rules but I can't because this is not my board... Sad

Yay, great sock, alwaysinmyroom!

After I finished my mittens, I've been making hats. I have one finished and posted in the finished projects board, and started another... But the cable pattern was making me mad (it was a diamond cable pattern, but it wasn't even, the pattern broke up the cables... Not uniform enough for my OCD self) so I ripped it out and started an owl cable hat. Almost done with it Smiley after that I might make myself finish my sweater (i only have to do the sleeves, i really should finish it) or try socks.... Or keep knitting hats, lol.

I got tired of working on socks for my boyfriend's dad, so I started a hat for my boyfriend. Had to frog it (too small) and start over. Got tired of that, so now I'm working on a shawl FOR ME!

And for this Wednesday my WIP is... the same as last week!  My 10 stitch blanket is coming along, and helping to keep my lap warm in the process  Cheesy

Your blanket is looking great, Trekky!

I'm working on a hat for my uncle. He asked if i could make it like a hat he already has, which is one of those double layer ribbed hats. He's a hunter and works on the docks, and I'm assuming he'll be folding the brim up. So now I'm trying to decide if i should keep going with the ribbing (i don't know if the ribbing might make it too bulky), or if i should rip that out and make the whole thing stockinette...

Also working on this hooded cowl sort of thing. I've ripped the hood out and started over several times. Hope I've gotten it right this time.
