The pattern can be found here.  I know what you mean about not being able to bear to throw away yarn!  I have a random assortment of colours to add to this, so it might end up a little garish... but in a good way! Once you have got your head around knitting a corner, the pattern is easy, so perfect for TV knitting.  Plus the bigger it gets, the more it keeps you warm in the process!

Oh, nice, Trekky! I was actually eyeing that pattern recently, when I found out my niece is pregnant... Debating if I want to take on the task of a baby blanket... And that pattern jumped out at me. If I make a blanket, I have it down to that pattern or one other.

I love the way those blankets look.

I'm still working on my sweater. Just put the sleeves on scrap yarn.

After knitting 4 Dr. Who hats, the only thing I feel like knitting is finishing up my lace wristwarmers...

I found the yarn I purchased for a lace shawl and the yarn I purchased for a cabled cowl...now to find the darn patterns!

I really want to make a circular needle holder before I start any new project...they are driving me crazy sitting in my tote...

Looking good AIMR - the second sock is always faster I find, just pick it up again and you'll be finished in no time.
