Since I'm between sweaters, I'm working on my blanket, and a scarf. Probably this weekend I'll start another sweater... or a hat, lol.

It's herringbone. My cousin's girlfriend spun this yarn for me I thought the colors were perfect for a fall cowl

Almost finished with my bobble shawl!  Lots of seed stitch in that one (It is from the book "Noro Knitting")...I am doing it first in some stash yarn before committing to Noro yarn...I love it so it will be one of my winter WIPS!

Any knitters want to swap for crochet?  I also joined this swap as I want some crochet baby hats (the kind with ears and all):

My WIP this week is some chunky slipper socks.  I always have cold feet and wear socks to bed even in the middle of summer. So these will be a treat to my feet this winter    I have one sock done, it took two nights of tv watching!



The pattern is Nola's knitted slippers.  I'm using 2 strands of DK rather than worsted, so hopefully they will fit me.

aww--that pattern reminds me of the very first knitting I did when I was about 9 or 10 years old!!!  I won a blue ribbon at a crafts fair for my knitted booties!

I love your bright colors and using two strands would make them extra warm!

Trekky, I love the colors!

I haven't been here in a while, kind of just knitting here and there lately. I am working on a basic sweater, but just taking my time (stockinette doesn't excite me like cable work, but if everything goes right with this sweater, it will be cute, just doesn't motivate me to work on it, lol!)

So, anyone else getting some fall knitting done?

I knit three projects but I can't post yet as they are not for me!

I have a lovely black shawl I am working on in a lace pattern...

and, my brother has requested hats for all of his working buddies...I think I am going to do the watch cap pattern that was posted here...

I purchased Noro yarn that I will be making fingerless mitts for me and one of my fellow mods (not saying which one! )...
