Fused Glass Backsplash--finally done!

I started this project late 2011 and finally screwed up the courage (and motivation) to install them. I agonized over how to install them (permanently or semi-permanently) and ultimately decided we are all but dust in the wind and if some future owner decides to demolish them, then so be it.

The bathroom needs to painted, probably a deep creamy cappuccino color, and I may add a row of white ceramic tiles above the fused glass tiles. I still have to caulk, but here's what it looks like now:

It looks great! Im so impressed by people who work in glass.

As far as home decorating goes, it's not really my typical style. BUT if I bought your house I would be so impressed by the fact that you made those peices of art yourself, there is no way I'd take it down! Handmade creativity means a lot to me. I'd make it work!

I'm in the process of moving house, and I soooo want to make a backsplash out of my own tiles - so thanks for posting your lovely ones. I feel encouraged to do it now :-)
