iron on patterns

MY second question is re iron on patterns. I Have a very personal pattern I want to embroider for a friend (the design on her wedding invites) but don't feel I'm good enough yet to embroider it straigh onto fabric would like a picture ouIe fabric to stitch over. IS it possible to buy iron on paper that will allow me to print my own pattern to then iron onto the fabric (can't draw to save my life!) ANd if so what is it called and where can I get it? AM in the uk so American shops not suitable needs to be done by end of july so don't really have time for American shipping

I don't know the names off hand of any printable iron-on products, but I'm pretty sure they make them.

I just wanted to pitch a couple of alternatives if you find yourself needing them. If you're doing it on a lighter fabric, laying the fabric over the image & tracing it, taping it up to windows works well, too. Or using the graphite transfer paper a sewer would use & using that to transfer the image. I've done pretty well using those two techniques, so I hope that helps!

I would suggest tracing it with iron on pens or pencil and then iron it onto the fabric.
