Oh, wow, love the wood burning! I'd never thought of it, but that image of simba is perfect for that.

My partner is MIA so I'll post pics of what I sent her. I assume she liked it all...

Her likes were The Little Mermaid, Belle, and Alice in Wonderland among others and I was in a princessy adventuring mood, so I had fun with that!

Rice-filled heat therapy bag with a cover inspired by the sea.

Beauty and the Beast tea tray - it was SUPPOSED to be wood burned but my wood burning kit has completely disappeared. I really have no clue where it went. And it's not like we have a large place or many storage areas for it to get lost in. I'm baffled. Anyway, the design was already on the wood so I improvised. I used fabric markers and made the rose yellow instead of red since my partner's one dislike was the color red. Then I varnished it a million times until water beaded on the surface and then varnished it again. I like how it turned out and, in person, the rose is a bit more prominent. Stupid cell phone camera.

Alice in Wonderland ISpy bottle. So my story with this is that Alice brought back with her a bottle of wonderland seeds but, as they're wonderlandian, they've started to sprout some strange stuff. I used flax seeds and various little bits that I had left over from making ISpy beanbags for my church along with other little fun things I've collected since then and put them all in a larger than normal spice jar and glued the lid down. You shake it to try and find different things. Last I heard my partner was taking care of her niece and nephew and I thought it would be fun for the kids.

A bitty Belle amigurumi. While I grew up crocheting (really, my grandmother taught me early and threw hooks and yarn at me to keep me out of her hair), this was my first amigurumi. After trying and failing to follow patterns (crochet patterns and I have always had a rocky relationship), I gave up and free-formed her. I made the dress separate as my attempts to integrate that just weren't working. I probably should have used a thinner yarn but too late. Anyway, I like how the doll turned out. I may be biased, but I thought she was adorables.

Ariel's jewelry set. I tried to imagine the sort of necklace Ariel would have made during her mermaid days from the materials she had. The necklace has three strands, one of mixed pearls, one with light teal beads strung on a hemp line, and one chain. The starfish pendant is actually a pin that attached perfectly. I liked that it could be removed for a more subdued look or moved around as desired. The bracelet is a pre-made bit that I found at Michael's and which fit perfectly with the other colors and overall style. The corkscrew things around the necklace are dreadlocks jewelry that hopefully can be twisted or pushed onto her dreads and give a little fun, extra sparkle. I'd seen the idea elsewhere and thought it neat. Since I don't have dreads nor anyone with dreads to test it on, I don't know how well they work but, worse case, she got some pretty beads out of it.
