Let me know if you like it!!   It does have a stem, which is hard to see in the pix

Very nice flower.  I've done french beaded flowers before but they were 1 inch roses.  Doing the big ones is a lot of beading.  So after I saw your flower.  i went to my favorite beaded flower site and found that you can buy the flower patterns as PDF files.  So I purchased her book and now can't make up my mind what flower to make.  Here is her site if you are interested http://www.beadedflowerpatterns.com/  Her flowers are amazing!

Thanks for the inspiration.

So glad to find someone who makes beaded flowers,  It is one of the more obscure crafts.  The site has beautiful bead flowers, I'm sure you will find something there.  It is cheaper to buy the preciosa  or Jablonex beads which are sold in hanks.  They are not as perfect as delicas which is great.  Because when making flowers you may need a bead that is bigger or smaller at the edge.  If I can make up my mind I will be working on a bead flower tomorrow!

Hope I helped.
