mini_mum..I see (from the use of the word charity shop!!) that you are in the UK, this crowd are really good for leather work supplies, http://www.leprevo.co.uk/leather.htm I got the leather that I used for this project from them, they were selling off job lots of crappy leather, it was a kind of pot luck, I've just checked their website and they seem to have a lot on clearance..have fun!...lots of 'how to's ' on their site too.

As everyone else has said, i think they look fantastic! I also love the fabric on the inside of the leather. I'm sure everyone loved them! x

i think people liked them...but I dont think that some appreciated them any more than a shop bought journal Ah well...you live and learn

I had this problem too! I gifted three of my journals this Christmas; one of the recipients absolutely loved it and really appreciated the time and effort that went into it, although I'm not sure the other two people did! Definitely think I will choose more wisely next time . x
