Here is the quilt I made for Warped Hooker in the Mini Art Quilt Swap round 5.  It is called Hen Zen because it was based on a zentangle sketch I drew while trying to focus on a meeting. 



This is a closer detail of some of the beading and the chicken I managed to digitize and stitch out for this piece.  You can even see a bit of the texture I managed to put into the chicken!  As some one very new to digitizing I was happy to be able to make this one work out.  I was thrilled to find a piece of the chicken wire fabric in black and white at my LQS. 



Here is a bit of the hand quilting.  It is machine pieced and hand quilted.  I used several different types of quilters cotton and pearl cotton for the quilting.  The beads are glass.  It is all quilters cottons with a muslin backing.

I somehow didn't see you posted this, yes of course in the MAQ gallery but not in here.

Just wanted to say that it is such a piece of art, really! The black and white in combination with some blue and just a little bit of red is beautiful. And so are the patterns. Very interesting and love it!!

Oh and I like the name you gave the MAQ  Cheesy !
