Stationery and Note Card Swap- SU Closed: SO August 11, 2012

Wideeyed, we should work something out.  I can make your note cards and you can make my stationery.  Hee.  Just kidding.  I have a plan for the stationery.  It doesn't look like my order is going to arrive before the deadline, but if the temperature drops below 100-degrees, I'll drag my lazy butt over to JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby and get my supplies the old fashioned way. 

Freaking 105 degree weather!  It's sweltering and horrible!  I'm living in one of those places where on the national news they show the heavy red radar-images floating, dubbed over with the newscaster's voice, "100 year records broken."  Ugh!

But then, makes for sitting inside, watching TV, and making stationary.  Lemons-lemonade, kind of thing.  We crafsterers are SurViVors!

*looks shame-faced* I live in southern California and the weather has been beach-worthy. It's only about a mile from my house but I stay shut in to finished my swaps 
  But I DID get my note card samples done. Now I just gotta figure how to do the stationary I'll post a pic as soon as I can.
Here's the note cards I'm offering! Stationary coming soon  They will be random letters, Not all A's. And My partner can choose the letter if they want. They're basically dictionary pages that have been torn up. I'm a literary gal so this just seemed to fit.

I decided to just alter some envelopes I had by lining the inside with dictionary pages and adding some detail to the front and back to make them all a matched set ^^

Ok~ It's official.  I'm going derby style for this swap   I hope that's OK with all of you!  It seems that even people who don't play derby are interested or amused by it...  It seems to be a safe bet.

The cards I posted earlier ARE the ones I'm offering and here is the paper:

Option 1: Large watermark on unlined, coloured paper


Option 2: Small image at top corner & "Derby Love" signature on lined, coloured paper

I'd be happy to modify any of the offerings- If you don't want lines, borders, signature line on the paper for example, or if you want 8 of the same picture on the card, or 2 each of 4, or 8 different ones, etc, etc...  Also I'm limited by my stash, but will try to accommodate colour requests.

Question:  We are required to have matching envies, aren't we?  I've only seen one photo with envies (maybe I'm blind?), and am double checking.

And yes, coordinating envelopes should be included. I was in such a rush to photograph and post mine that I forgot to include the envelopes.

Hee hee...I didn't forget 
   I was actually impressed by my own genius with the envelopes I'm offering (sorry to sound so narcissistic)  It was one of my biggest worries but they turned out quite nice I think. And I LOVE the lined Envelope idea! It adds just a little bit more class to the set 

I like the water marked Derby stationary. The images are so clear and super fun! How did you do that? O.o

THe derby stationery is cool.  Is it pre-lined paper or do you have a stamp for that or what?
