This is my first attempt at using clay at all. Any tips or links to other projects are always helpful. Thanks for looking and any comments are welcome.

Very lovely and impressive!  I can only make rocks with clay.  You should definitely keep doing clay work.

You don't need a permit for a glue gun.

The coloring on your stems is fantastic.  I have such a horrible time painting clay, so I use the colored stuff. You did great!

I just wanted to thank you all for your comments and encouragement. This really is my first try with this, although I have had the clay for a long time. Does anyone know what the difference is between the bake stuff and the air dry? Besides the obvious of course. Does it work different?

I am no authority on clay but I do know that one of the products that air dry is a paper clay.  I almost bought some when I found the ingredients list it is made from volcanic ash.  Opening it would probably have killed me so always check the ingredients before buying.  I must say that looking at your roses has made me want to try clay again.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.
