I was recently invited to a bridal shower for a girl who went to my church when we were little.  Now, in September of last year I committed to the Year of Homemade Gifts Craft-a-long (the link is in my signature) so I tried to think of what I could make that would be homemade but still suitable as a bridal shower gift.

Well, someone here on Craftster made an apron with hot-pads in the corners (although I can't find it now to give credit, if it's you, please let me know!) and I thought it was a brilliant idea. So I started from there and ended up here! I didn't use a pattern, just sort of worked it out on my own, and it's made from 2 cotton print pillowcases I got from the dollarama and some other materials I had lying around. I figure the whole gift cost me about 6 or 7 dollars!

Here it is, let me know what you think!

I also made some dishcloths to go with it.

C&C greatly welcome!

Tea.
