hi y'all
(hi Jenny)

ok i'm too hot and in a silly mood, finally a month after my birthday i finished my present. i started with an idea of what i wanted and, drafted a pattern and went from there. i made a wire armature, so that his head, tail and wings are pose-able. while this is my first dragon, i'm very happy with it and am glad i made a pattern that way if ever anyone wants to buy one i can reproduce it
he is mixed of machine and hand stitched, first time using safety eyes and an armature.

he is about three feet long nose to tail and has about a four foot wingspan. Shocked

He looks great. I love the shape of his face.

I think spines along his back would have made him look more fierce.

I think slightly larger safety eyes would give him a more innocent look also.

Great job

Great job!  He looks like it was a lot of fun to make...I've always wanted to make a dragon and even bought the stuff to try and was too intimidated and quit. (story of my life Grin)  You've inspired me to try again!

Love the embroidery you've done around the eyes and the details on him...good job!! great work!
