Okay, lets start with the yarns!! (because you can see any old picture of a Majacraft Aura, and they all look the same Smiley)
This one is the second thing I've spun on the Aura, but it's by far the prettiest.  I tail spun (ish) it and then coiled it. I love the way the BFL is so lustrous and almost looks like strung pearls when the sun hits it just right

This is the very first thing I spun. It's merino top.  I was trying to get a perfectly even yarn and trying to figure out the tension system.  It's very different from my Traveller.  And eventually I wanted to see what the Aura could handle in terms of thickness, and it can handle un drafted top.  That's thick!!  I Navajo Plied it, so it's pretty thick through out.

This one was the last thing I pulled off the bobbin.  Very very chunky.  The blue is Coredale, and the white is organic merino.  The pink wrap is bamboo I spun up along time ago.  I was having trouble tweaking it just right, to get the yarn to take up at the right speed.

And, lastly, the Aura!

See, the yarn it can make is way more exciting then the picture of the wheel it self, though getting my dream wheel for my anniversary is pretty epic.  Cheesy

That is so awesome! I need to just dive in to spinning, I've been pondering for about a year, and just never had the time to sit down and watch videos to teach myself. I have a drop spindle and some fibers....and now you've given me the inspiration to do something with the tools.  Grin

Your coiled tailspin is stunning, and actually looks like something that would inspire a project. It's begging to be used!

What a nice anniversary present! You better have put out for that one.

wow! what an awesome gift! the yarns are great too. lol. my first anniversary is coming up in a few weeks, but i don't think i'm getting anything THAT amazing. Cheesy i think the BFL would look great as a simple shawlette or scarf, made with big needles or a hook to show off the yarn. ;P

Thanks!  And First anniversaries are exciting!  Congrats, Rodelphia!  The BFL is currently hanging in my hall way around a sheep print.  It seemed fitting Cheesy
