I'm doing the Ongoing Holiday List swap (AMAZING SWAP btw!!!) and thehappycrochetchic had a request for a stuffed Chewbacca for her oldest son who loves Star Wars.

(Yes, we are already thinking about Christmas over there...no, we're not nuts. Wink )

I bought this pattern at Draw! Pilgrim and it's super easy!

I originally made the darker brown Chewie but decided that he was too dark so I found some brown corduroy to make the second lighter one. The "ammunition belt" is gros grain ribbon painted with white dashes. I attached it with E6000 so that it couldn't come off/get lost. I used the glue because I think just tacking it down would not be enough of a deterrent for busy little hands. Wink

This is adorable!  You could always make Chewie's entire family (wife, kid, dad) from the Star Wars Holiday special.  Cheesy

Omg, so cute!  I need to make like an army of these now.  I'm sure my husband would love 'em.  ^_^  Thanks for sharing the link to the pattern!

I am so seeing these done with socks, like sock Chewies! I might have to make some. Now, where to find brown socks?
