After a shopping spree at the local good will I decided to reconstruct an ugly plaid shirt to a tight racer back. I removed the sleeves, leaving some excess for straps, which I criss crossed and hemmed with iron on fabric glue. I did a basic knot back to take in the sides. sorry for the bad pics...had to use my cell phone once again I promise to get a real camera soon so i can take better pics

Your reconstructions look good, I like your band tanks,they remind me of one I made myself a long long time ago and this racer back looks amazing, do let us know how it holds up- it's something I've always been concerned about with no sew techniques- but I'd love to hear my fears are groundless.

I've made many of these over the years and have only had a couple problems, usually with the glued portions and I have ended up adding a couple stitches if need be. The one thing I learned early one is if you make sure to stretch the fabric before you tie the pieces together you will get a better fit. I have heard some people say it was too big after they washed theirs, and this was because they didn't stretch the cut pieces. Other than that I have never really had an issue with any of my no sew shirts
