I seen this on the site and thought I'd try it out. I used 3 24 packs of crayons and hot glued some to some photography picture backing. I let them set in the sun for an hour on a 100 degree day. I haven't put a gloss on it yet, but I am going to before I hang them. I think next time I will use a heat gun to get a better controlled flow of crayon. Pretty! I like the idea of sitting these in the sun...I've only ever seen them being heated with a blow dryer!

I wasn't sure how well it would work in the sun. I live in northern california and it easily gets to 100+ on a normal summer day. I believe that day our high was around 105. The design they left on the newspaper looked great too but there was no way for me to salvage it since I had it sitting on rocks and dirt
