I am making a rub off pattern from my favorite yoga pants. I cut up the inseam to be able to lay open the pant leg and trace the pattern while eliminating the side seam. When i went to sew the new pieces my seams don"t match. Is this because you can"t eliminate a side seam by just tracing the pant leg that is already sewn closed? Any help would be FANTASTIC! thanks
