I love the way Foster Needles sends out Needle samples.. It's a card with two rows of Foam weather stripping that are about two inches apart with needles stuck in the foam perpendicular. I'll try to get a picture of it if your interested.

This is my new way to store needles. I bought spice jars from the dollar store and stuffed a bit of wool at the bottom and a little paper with the needle size written. Then poked each needle through the holes.
With the tops on they don't budge and won't fall out which is the problem I had with using cardboard. It is a great way to bring needles places also.
