Thanks, Mandyhello!!  Very nice of you to send me that info.  And I am bookmarking this thread for referring to when I make some soap!  I will not hesitate to send you a PM if I have more questions.  All I need is one more thing for me to add to my list!!   Cheesy

Oh my goodness. You are the 1st person to make lime and coconut soap I have found. I love lime and coconut scents together and can't make soap. Great job.

Aww..I wish I could make a homemade soap too!
And your pie looks so yummy (and now, I'm hungry, LoL)

This is awesome! The shredded coconut that you use, did you shred it yourself? Or buy it? I didn't know if the one you buy has sugar, or if that would matter. I wanna try this!

Ahhhhh, thanks Craftster!  I've retooled this recipe recently, and now I'm adding a few ounces of Brambleberry's Coconut Cybilla as well Smiley

Momof2, sorry I didn't see your question until now..  I never add sugar to my soaps if I can help it (I heard once it can encourage skin yeast, so I try to avoid it).  Anyway, this is just regular unsweetened shredded coconut.  It obviously has some natural sugars, but none are added.

Congratulations! I bet that lime and coconut smells so tasty together - it seems like it would be sweet and warm but refreshing at the same time!! I'm a fan of lime Smiley
