For the recent dinosaur swap, I made my partner some embroidered cards and this is how they turned out!

Here is the whole group (Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus, Brontosaurus, and Pachycephalosaurus)

This is a close up of the Ankylosaurus (I think this is my favorite)

And a close up of the Pachycephalosaurus (which also turned out really nice).

After I embroidered them, I glued some plain card stock on the back to hide the knots and stitches, and the stitches made an imprint of the dino on the inside of the card too. It was very hard to part with these, and I am definitely going to make more in the future.

It'a always nice to see stitching on something unconventional. You did a great job with these. *pinned*

I keep meaning to do more with embroidered cards, and never get around to it. These are wonderful, though, and your swap partner is surely going to love them! I imagine they'd be popular with an awful lot of people, in fact. ^_^
