Ahhh so did you bake the thicker pieces first? I've never rebaked anything, so I have no clue what kind of situation you would need to do that in. I just really need to do some more research on the topic. There are so many things I'd like to make, and now Hogwarts is on my ever growing list!

Fantastic!!!!
Btw, here's a link to the specific post with "better" pictures:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=410017.msg4842829#msg4842829

Love the mini-castle (great job on getting the concept across on something that small), and mixing both media and functions with the pins is totally inspired!

For anyone interested in "rebaking" polymer clay or making miniature and other structures like houses/castles, etc, check out these pages:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/baking.htm > Multiple & Partial Baking
http://glassattic.com/polymer/glues-Diluent.htm> Some Bonding Techniques
http://glassattic.com/polymer/houses_structures_gingerbread.htm (do a Ctrl+F search on that page for the word castle, e.g.)

(I wouldn't recommend the 3 main Sculpeys for things like this though because the pieces will be thin and those clays are more brittle after baking when thin than other brands and lines of polymer clay--except perhaps the new clay Craftsmart/Bakeshop:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/Characteristics.htm > Strength )

This is so beautiful!  I love that the pins don't look like pins, but like landscape.
