Dumbledore is one of many colorful characters created by J.K. Rowling in her series of books about Harry Potter. I forget sometimes that not everyone has been caught up in the books or movies like my family and I have. David bought the seventh book and laid on the closet floor all night to read, so that he wouldn't disturb my sleep.

umbledore is the headmaster at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is wise, old and has a bit of a sense of humor. While researching him, I found that he prefers patterned socks, and favors argyles.

My inspiration for my dolls comes from both the books and the movies. Dumbledore wears a gold under robe, a purple over robe, a gold fez, and purple argyle socks. The time turner that he loaned to Hermione hangs from his neck, and the horcrux ring is on his finger.

This doll is completely original. the patterns for doll and clothes were created by myself. his face is hand painted and needle sculpted.

His face is indescribable!  Shocked I LOVE him! I've never seen the Professor look so lively and well in his life  Wink Nice attention to detail and what a wonderful tribute to a man who influenced one of this world's most favorite heroes.

He's amazing!  I just started reading the series two weeks ago (finished book four today) and Dumbledore is one of my favorite characters.

He looks great! As an avid Harry Potter fan, I feel good enough to say that you would have made J. K. Rowling proud!

I have no idea how you do it, those faces. Dumbledore's face looks so much wiser and more benevolent than any other Dumbledore I've seen before. And his outfit it gorgeous! Can't believe he even has the ring!
Will we get to see a group pic of your HP dolls one day?

His hair is wefted. You take a bunch of yarn and sandwich it in between two pieces of paper and sew over it. Then peel the paper away. There are tutorials available online.
If I remember correctly, I think he was about 18 to 20 inches tall.
LOL! Thanks MadHatteh.
