I got BOTH my sets of badges - lucky me!
First up are these by whenindoubtsew

A creepy mermaid- the photo does not do this justice as the details are lost, and a fabulous anatomical heart with really wonderful detailed stitching

And from my other brilliant partner Glamis;

A really cool fish with layered felt scales and a fantastic skull based on one from my pinterest.

I love them all- thank you both soooo much

This gallery is on fire!!!!!

Perfection arrived in my mailbox today.

If you love robots, you might want to avert your eyes -- because if you gaze upon what I received from Lanikins,  you will surely die from envy.

And all you cockatiel lovers (a smaller crowd, I'm sure) will have your hearts go all gooey at the other badge I received from Lanikins.

The robot is going to be turned into a brooch that I will wear with great delight. The cockatiel is going in the area of my workbench so I can look at it whenever I need my heart melted.

Thank you Lanikins, I <3 them both. Enormously.

So many fantastic badges today (LOVE that anatomical heart and all the amazing stitching), but I really want to know how that skull badge was done. Are the blue bits stitchery, needle felting, what?  It's just gorgeous!

it is cut out felt bits secured by the stiches. Does that make it clear?

On the one hand, yes, that makes it perfectly clear.

OTOH, my brain just spasmed because until now, it (my brain) was fairly certain that it was physically impossible to do something that intricate and lovely from cut up pieces of felt.  Cheesy

All of these badges are so great! The detail in all of them is quite amazing. I especially love the tiny house badge by Quaggy...pinned that one right away! Smiley
